It's Miller Time!

Alfie and Factory Girl, two movies I haven’t seen, yet know so much about. Due to my crazy obsession with its lead actress, Sienna Miller, I figured out more or less what the movies were about. Her role in Alfie was quite “limited in significance”, as she played one of Jude Law’s many lovers. In Factory girl, however, being the lead role, she brought a different dynamic... one of much more stature and significance.

Before I delve too deep into what seems to be a movie review. Let me take this opportunity to let you know that I absolutely ADORED her style in both these movies. Also, judging by Factory Girl’s trailer and its epic theme song, by Lykke Li “Until We Bleed”, I just felt such a deep connection with her role as the late Eddie Sedgewick.
To give you an idea of what I mean, watch this music video....

Legendary? YES. Beautiful? DEFINITELY.
With all do respect, she may not be the best actress around, but she sure as hell steals the show with her unique style and effortless beauty.
Sienna Miller is a one of the VERY FEW celebrities that remains so down to earth and “cool” about her fame. I completely respect and admire her for that.
Along with acting, she decided in 2007, to join forces with her fashion designer sister, Savannah Miller only to launch their own label, “Twenty 8 Twelve”. I LOVED each and every item that was “catwalked” (Wordplay).

This talented young woman is one of my many style inspirations. It amazes me how little effort she puts in too everything she does, and still looks THAT beautiful. MINIMAL MAKEUP, MAXIMUM BEAUTY!

BRING IT, Boots 'n All

2013 has dawned upon us. Along with its endless possibilities, this year has asked to be conquered. Im generally not a goal orientated person. Yes, that was a confession. However, after what 2012 has taught me? I've promised myself that this year, not ONLY am I postively changing my mindset, I intend on setting objectives, reaching my new found goals and fulfilling my dream.

This space is merely an online exhibition of who I am and what I love most. Fashion and makeup are my 2 loves! Well, besides the 3 F's ofcourse; my faith, family and friends.

So in light of how passionate and goal driven I am this year, i thought it best to let my clothes do the talking. Hence the post title and, these awesome photographs by a talented photographer, The Archive and a very dear friend, Tassin Albertyn...
